why do we charge screening fees?
As independent filmmakers, we pour our hearts, time, and resources into creating stories that spread empowerment, resilience, and adventure. Thank you for helping us share these stories with the world.

We recommend renting a local theater or event space whenever possible. These venues often have built-in seating, accessible parking, and professional audio/visual setups — which makes the screening process smoother and creates a high-quality experience for your guests.

University auditoriums
-
Arts, community centers or public libraries

If you’re hosting at a less traditional venue, be sure to confirm whether A/V is included or if you’ll need to rent a projector, screen, or sound system from a local vendor.

Paul, Josh, Anna, and Danielle are honored to attend select events in person when scheduling and logistics allow. They’re available for engaging live Q&A conversations and heartfelt presentations.
The hosting party is responsible for the cost of travel and accomodation for each attending team member and a $500 appearance fee.
Feel free to reach out to us at info@adaptedthefilm.com if this is something you’re dreaming about—we’re happy to start the conversation.
